This notice explains how Hancrop Ltd (“Hancrop”, “we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We are the data controller for this information under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect
- Enquiries. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Client information. If you become a client, we hold the contact, contract and billing details needed to deliver our services and meet our legal obligations.
- Technical data. Our web server records standard request logs (IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type) to keep the site secure and working. These logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or third-party embeds. Fonts and other assets are served from our own server.
Why we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and take steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To deliver services under a contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep accounting and tax records as required by law (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep our systems secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f)).
We never sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Where your data is stored
Our website and email are hosted on servers located in the United Kingdom. If we use a service provider that processes data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a contract are deleted within 24 months. Client and financial records are kept for six years after the end of the relevant financial year, as required by UK law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@hancrop.uk. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
